Two New Secret Diner Reviews

The Secret Diner has been in action on your behalf over the winter months with two new reviews are now in place on the dedicated Secret Diner website. The site now has a substantial range of reviews covering a wide variety of Island locations and types of establishment. Further reviews are already planned for this ever-popular aspect of Where's Good to Eat and thanks must go to the tireless Secret Diners for their sterling efforts.

Selected Reviewer List Grows

One of the most important aspects of Where's Good to Eat is the selection, on merit, of Selected Reviewers. We place great importance on ensuring that only those individuals who have clearly demonstrated objectivity and breadth of coverage get included in the list. By doing so, we provide a simple and effective way to identify those recommendations that are truly impartial and therefore to be taken at face value. We can't stop 'fans' of this or that eatery skewing the overall totals but the Selected Reviewer system provides a useful foil.

It has been an enormous source of satisfaction watching the Selected Reviewer list grow, month on month, to the current total of over 70. That growth indicates, clearly, that Where's Good to Eat has become a regular feature of the eating out scene in the Isle of Man and that diners value its independence and objectivity. A broad range of Selected Reviewers also, of course, provides more opportunity for 'promotions' to the Secret Diner list for those demonstrating the appropriate literary and culinary talent.
